Pleasure Venom

Getting right to the point: This is one of those Saturday night blow-outs where you’re left reeling with, “WHAT THE HELL JUST HIT ME?” searing through your brain. In other words, it’s gonna be awesome tonight, Saturday Sept. 3, at Hotel Vegas.

The evening begins with what KUTX Song of the Day producer Jack Anderson knighted as “proto-punk meets ‘90s indie heat,” Branzino. But that’s only the beginning of the shreds. Otis the Destroyer then takes the stage for additional face melting, with new music in tow from their forthcoming LP. And then, as if that weren’t enough for your ravenous soul, the night is capped off by these ruthless warriors included in an Afropunk list of “punk visionary” bands, Pleasure Venom.

Are you ready? Doors open at 9 p.m., and the music starts at 10 p.m. And DJ LA SCUM provides the spins for the occasion. You’re welcome.
