It’s another crazy-full list of the Austin Music Minute‘s SXSW showcase selections tonight, Tuesday, March 15. Go for it:
- Another winner with the British Music Embassy showcase at Cedar Street Courtyard including Yard Act, Los Bitchos, and Pillow Queens.
- Buffalo Nichols and SASAMI are on tonight’s line-up at 3Ten at ACL Live.
- A lot to check out Cheer Up Charlie’s, including Glove, Night Moves, Seratones, and Sunflower Bean on the outside stage, and MEMES and Anna B. Savage on the inside stage.
- LA band Egg Drop Soup and ATX band Being Dead are on the line-up tonight at Chess Club, 617 Red River.
- DJ Kay Cali spins tonight at Stubb’s for the DAWA benefit, with We Don’t Ride Llamas (featured on today’s AMM), Magna Carda, Mélat, and Cha’keeta B.
- Austin-based artists Curse Mackey and Ringo Deathstarr play tonight’s showcase at Elysium, with Athens, GA duo Vision Video, London band Phobophobes, and Brownsville, TX post-punk duo Twin Tribes.
- David Shabani ignites the stage at Empire Control Room tonight at a showcase that includes Deante Hitchcock and hip-hop/pop duo They Hate Change.
- Making Movies and The Tiarras are part of a great showcase at Speakeasy, with Luna Luna, Salt Cathedral, and REYNA.
- This one happens to be over-the-top sick. A Giant Dog and Sixteen Deluxe play a showcase at Valhalla that includes Rosegarden Funeral Party and Aertex.
