Flying solo this evening without their respective bands, two ATX artists share the spotlight tonight, Tuesday Oct. 5, at Hotel Vegas, 1502 E. 6th St.

-For your AMM host, the Annabelle Chairlegs addiction started with the very groovy pop-rock jangle of Watermelon Summer. Then along comes Gotta Be In Love, amping up the pop with irresistibly darker, more urgent ’60s-psych/surf vibes right out of your favorite B-horror flick. Is it possible to love a band even more?! Vocalist/guitarist Lindsey Mackin plays a set tonight at 9:30 p.m.
-Your AMM host’s admiration for songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Aaron Sinclair goes back to the days of Frank Smith – and an obsession with “Monsters” from the band’s 2012 release Before You Were Born. (That one still brings the goosebumps.) And it only got better with A. Sinclair, from Pretty Girls all the way on through to their latest, Sunshine Ghost. Something about the Sinclair soundscape captures the essence of twilight hues from any given evening and magically turns them into music. Aaron Sinclair starts out the night at 8:30 p.m.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for this Hotel Vegas patio performance. Please remember to bring your mask.
