On today’s AMM, you can hear the renown Queen of Bounce, New Orleans-based hip-hop artist Big Freedia and multi-platinum pop artist Kesha proudly sound the call on “Chasing Rainbows”: “You know me / Bein’ free / Won’t be silent…” They don’t wanna chase this rainbow ’cause they can’t even keep up.
Tonight’s the night, baby. Big Freedia headlines a show that includes performances by Austin artists, ultra-fabulous dark glam goddess Caleb de Casper (“Too Many Boys” is also featured on today’s AMM) and sci-fi electro-tribe warriors Trouble In the Streets.
