The mind is reeling. The entire weekend is overflowing with all manner of musical badassery. The only problem you’ll have is choosing which show(s) to go to. So, please spread the word – try something new – buy all the band merch. These are but a few AMM selections for your perusal.

The AMM is starting as early as this afternoon with Satellite Fest 2022, continuing at The Parlor, 4301 Guadalupe with Butch County, Psychic Seatbelt, Melissa Bryan, Jay Satellite and more. 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Then tonight:

• Bill Callahan performs at The Far Out Lounge and Stage with Pascal Kerong’A. Doors at 7 p.m.
• Longtime AMM fave Lord Buffalo plays at Sagebrush, 5500 S. Congress Ave., with a sick line-up starring Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol, Sabbath Crow, and Heartchaser. Music starts at 9 p.m.
• Yet another sick line-up at the Swan Dive on Red River with BLOOD NASTY 8, presenting Naga Brujo, The Boleys, The Deadcoats and Transy Warhol.
• Money Chicha and Motenko play The Continental Club.
• Soul Man Sam Evans & The SMS Band perform at C-Boy’s Heart and Soul at 10 p.m.

Tomorrow night:

• CAPYAC kicks off their next tour in extravagantly grand fashion at Cheer Up Charlie’s. Because they can. xo
• Rey Arteaga and Son Y No Son perform at Radio Coffee and Beer, 4204 Menchaca Rd. 6 p.m.
• Tip o’ the hat to The Saddle Sores, bringing the twang to The ABGB for the ABGB Sunday Best Dance, 1305 W. Oltorf. 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
• Feeding your eternal darkwave soul, an awesome LEVITATION show with Cold Cave at Empire Control Room. With Soft Kill, Temple of Angels, Blushing & Lucid Express. Doors 6 p.m.
