It’s mystical. Your mind is transported to very specific memories that Little Mazarn summons forth with a whisper. Through minimal instrumental arrangement, songwriter Lindsey Verrill and Jeff Johnston seem to evoke emotion with sensations of the natural world; it could be a soft breeze, a babbling brook, the crunch of the path beneath one’s feet, birds’ wings flutter, or a hushed landscape after a snowfall.
Little Mazarn continues their Tuesday night residency at Hole In the Wall with a show tonight, featuring sets by KUTX April Artist of the Month Buffalo Hunt, and a solo set by Jenny Carson, one half of the duo Warm Sugar. The show begins at 9 p.m.
