You got the heads-up a couple of months ago, thanks to the KUTX Song of the Day. “Brand New,” the title track to the latest release by the electrifying nine-piece outfit Honey Made was the featured track, mighty funk and soul from deep in the heart of Texas ablaze with old-school energy to get the honey pumping in your veins. Grammy Award winner Steve Berlin took the reins on production for this release, and it’s lit.

Honey Made brings the heat from Brand New with a live performance at 7 p.m. tonight, Thursday December 3, at Radio Coffee and Beer, 4204 Machaca Rd. This is a limited-capacity show; masks are required. You can reserve your tickets via the Radio Coffee and Beer website.
