Girls Rock Austin empowers girls, trans and non-binary youth through music education, mentorship and self-care. And this weekend, they’re presenting their Festive Fest winter fundraiser, in support of GRA’s Unlimited Possibilities Scholarship Fund, and the Operation Lunch Box Initiative, which has provided meals to thousands of Austin families facing food insecurity.
This is one killer line-up for Sunday, Dec. 12 at the Mohawk: Jackie Venson, Kam Franklin (The Suffers), Sailor Poon, Danger Cakes, Quentin & The Past Lives, Sheverb, The Dead Coats, Brand New Key, Rajinee, Burns and DJ Beats of Burden. Festive Fest kicks off tomorrow at 1 p.m.
