Blue(grass) Monday

By: Laurie Gallardo

We’re talkin’ about the essentials here. One could even say that Bluegrass Night at Radio Coffee and Beer is a tradition. The much-beloved weekly flurry of mad string action draws people from all parts of town to the South Austin hot spot because it’s always a guaranteed great performance. The uber-talented musicians of the house band working the magic include Tony Kamel and Dom Fisher  (Wood and Wire), along with Noah Jeffries and Kym Warner.

Bluegrass Night happens from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday nights at Radio Coffee and Beer, 4204 Menchaca Rd. Heads up: This is a limited capacity socially-distanced show; masks are required, and tickets must be reserved in advance at Radio’s website.
