The Point.: “401 Canjeos” [Live In Studio 1A]

By: Taylor Wallace

The smooth yet bold globally-inspired grooves of our September Artist of the Month the Point have made them booked and busy. In addition to going on tour with Nigerian psych rock artist Mdou Moctar (including his Levitation show), they released the deluxe edition of 2024’s Maldito Animal and played ACL Fest in addition to performing up to half a dozen local shows monthly. Keeping with their prodigious momentum, the Point will be opening for the Head and the Heart on New Year’s Eve at Auditorium Shores, taking the stage of the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, and playing Spaceflight Record’s annual holiday party this Friday at Radio/East with Heartless Bastards. And all of that before hitting the road with St. Paul and the Broken Bones next February.
