Holiday87: “Lost”

By: Jack Anderson

As one half of Big Apple duo The Knocks, producer-songwriter Benjamin “B Roc” Ruttner is far from unfamiliar with electronic music. But by adapting to the “new normal”, Ruttner’s just begun a new chapter with his solo offshoot, Holiday87, returning to the lo-fi sample-based beatmaking style he developed in his rural New Hampshire upbringing.

You can expect some solid house grooves and carefree compositions on Holiday87’s upcoming self-titled LP, out December 11th, but today you can get your beach fix with Holiday87’s debut music video and put some bump in your hump day with “Lost”!

It’s a short, sharp burst of momentum that doesn’t waste much time getting where it’s going. […]
