Between their self-degrading humor, biting sarcasm, and just plain uncouth nature, Acey Monaro’s lyrics have always been a perfect mate for Go Fever‘s musty and brazen sonics. Monaro founded the rock five-piece shortly after her move from Australia and has since brought a bit of the Aussie experience to the Live Music Capital with each new record.
This year Go Fever‘s set to follow up last Spring’s Daydream Hawker EP and their 2017 eponymous LP with both a new full-length album and an EP of special covers. We’re hoping for more unapologetically raunchy rock even with Monaro moving back to her native continent soon, and while the bars may still be closed, invite some Aussie-Kiwi pub energy into your living room and maybe even enjoy a pint over their rendition of “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again”!
