If you know L.A. pop two-piece The Belle Brigade, then you’re already a bit acquainted with Ethan Gruska. And if that doesn’t ring a bell, you’ve probably heard his contributions (be it as a writer, performer, or producer) on recordings from The National’s Matt Berninger, Fiona Apple, and most recently – KUTX favorite Phoebe Bridgers. Bridgers’ next album is co-produced by Gruska and on Gruska’s recent feature-sprinkled release En Garde, the pair continue their quirky style of collaboration. Keep an eye out for Gruska’s name on liner notes in the near future and fire up your leaf blower for him and Bridgers’ latest: “Enough For Now”!
