Miles Bloxson Like we never left. This season is all about change, changes in the law.

Lizzy Lehman There’s a general sense of unease for a lot of my friends and for myself. For those who are in the LGBTQ community.

Miles Bloxson Climate change.

David Yeomans We used to average 15 triple digit days per year, 15 days per summer when we hit 100 or higher. Now we average over the last 30 years, 29 of them. We’ve already doubled our average 100 degree day count. And how how many do we have last summer? 8100 degree days?

Miles Bloxson Ticket prices?

Mellie Price I remember one of the first box offices I worked was Insane Clown Posse. And, you know, I think it was a $35 ticket and we had like a $3.50 service charge roughly, which was a lot less than the ten or so dollars that were being charged by Ticketmaster and other ticket entities.

Miles Bloxson I mean, the list goes on. Really?

Elizabeth McQueen Yeah. And we’re going to look at how all these changes impact the Austin music scene.
