Austin ISD and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton have reached an agreement over a lawsuit. The City of Austin is ending its contract with nonprofit Urban Alchemy, which operates two of the city’s homeless shelters. The deadline for people affected by the July flooding to apply for FEMA assistance is less than two weeks away.
