Now (well…anytime, really) is the perfect time to relive the shimmering expanse of Rain On Dust, RF Shannon‘s first release on Keeled Scales and the follow up to the gorgeous haze of Trickster Blues (2018, Cosmic Dreamer). Many tendrils branch off this vast soundscape – mellow psych-Americana, soulful alt.-country, desert rock, Lockhart psychfolk bliss, call it whatever you will. Of course, you already have a magical preview with today’s AMM featured track, “Dublin, Texas,” recorded by songwriter/vocalist Shane Renfro at his Lockhart home last year, with Dan Duszynski (Loma) on mixing duties and mastering by Carl Saff.
