Austin-based artist Sydney Wright is the host of Womxn Wednesdays, a residency focused on, though not limited to, the redefined power of the feminine in musical creativity, unrestrained by genre.
This week’s special guests include Nnedi Nebula (songwriter/front womxn of Trouble In the Streets, contributing vocalist of Golden Dawn Arkestra), and R&B/funk duo The Vapor Caves (“Dreams” is their recent collaboration with Jackie Venson).
The show starts at 7 p.m. tonight, Wednesday June 9, at The Haute Spot, 1501 E. New Hope Dr. in Cedar Park. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Mask required for entry.
