Dig in for a few local favorites and more musical discovery, with three AMM SXSW virtual showcase picks happening tomorrow, Thursday March 18 – a mix of ATX, UK and Mexico-based artists:
-On the Austin front, Black Fret and EQ Austin present a showcase featuring Como Las Movies (“La Inconforme” is featured on today’s AMM), Mike Melinoe, Ray Prim, Jake Lloyd and Betty Soo, starting at 5 p.m. (Central).
–The Close Encounter Club spotlights UK artists Weird Milk, Sorry, and Babeheaven, starting at 8 p.m. (Central).
–Devil In the Woods x The Syndicate highlights indie artists from Mexico, including Petite Amie, Ruido Rosa, Vaya Futuro, Los Blenders, and El Shirota, kicking off at 8 p.m. (Central).
