Superfónicos at Meanwhile Brewing Co.

By: Laurie Gallardo

Imagine the horror of being eaten alive…

Rather a dramatic statement coming from today’s AMM, true, but the imagery in “Carroña” by Superfónicos goes for it full force in their unflinching condemnation of political corruption. Politicians playing with people’s lives are the vultures in power, greedily taking all they can and leaving nothing, like vultures ravenously tearing away at a carcass until nothing remains but the bones. However, an awakening is stirring the people; indifference has no place in these times.

Catch Superfónicos at their show tonight, Saturday April 9, at Meanwhile Brewing Company, with Columbian roots band Wache opening the show. The music starts at 8:30 p.m.

This one gets loud, bold, experimental in many parts, powered by guitar and unapologetic vitality, all inspired […]
