The long awaited world tour of Icelandic post-rock outfit Sigur Rós is underway, their first in nearly five years, and includes stops in Mexico, Japan, and Canada as well as the U.S. And the band’s been working on their next new studio album, the first since their 2013 release, Kveikur. Though the shows will spotlight their latest pieces, the band will also do a deep dive into their 25-year catalogue for their performances. But which tracks?? Just the thought of making selections from such an extensive discography is daunting.
You have two opportunities to find out what makes the setlist. Sigur Rós has two show dates in Austin: Tonight, Monday May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. both nights.
