Monday, February 10, 2020 at Empire Control Room was a badass night. Lechuza played a show supporting Olivia Jean, alongside fellow ATX band Hex Boyfriend. And there, front of stage, soaking in all the shreds, every single one of us (your AMM host included) was completely oblivious to what was about to hit the planet.
Cut to current-day recovery plans: Lechuza is ready to dive in head first, as front woman Amanda Brewer says, with their first show since that fateful night – a socially-distanced drive-in show out at Texas Music Ranch, 5220 FM 973. The music starts at 4 p.m. this afternoon, Sat. April 10, with Lechuza hitting the stage at 11 p.m. Nine bands on the line-up, including Deocculted, Hellfury, Thunderosa, Relative Circle, Cochise, Daddy Swamp Ass, This Party Sucks and more. All yer hoodlum friends – or, not for the faint of heart, take your pick.
