Make It Heavy

By: Laurie Gallardo

No need to mess with the volume. It’s already cranked up for you. Holy Death Trio got their start in 2016, and according to legend, it all came about when Mercury was in retrograde. So…that could translate into anything, from dubious to apocalyptic, but in this case it’s an Austin-based three-piece that loves opening the floodgates to unleash an unrelenting pulse of all things heavy. That means heavy psych and heavy metal, stoner and doom, and all the heavy shreds that go with it.

Catch Holy Death Trio at their show tomorrow night, Thursday June 15, at Mohawk on the inside stage. The line-up includes a crew that’s known some long-ass winters, Fools; the delectable Meat Hook & The Vital Organs; and super-heavy San Marcos trio Cosmic Funeral. Doors at 8 p.m.

That’s…that’s brutal, man.
