If you got to see some of the Instagram video from last Wednesday’s blowout at the Magic Rockers of Texas residency kickoff at Hole In the Wall, you won’t need much convincing to go. Crocodile Tears and The Bad Lovers started things out with a bang, and now this week’s gang of hoodlums bring more unleashed chaos you need in your life.
MRoT’s residency continues tomorrow, Wednesday June 7, with Drakulas, Slomo Drags and Gus Baldwin and the Sketch. Doors at 8 p.m. And a heads-up from Rockers’ guitarist and vocalist Jim Campo: The band is shooting for a June 15 release date for their new EP. Hopefully. So far. Whatever the case, it’s worth waiting for.
