KUTX is partnering with The City of Austin Music and Entertainment Division and the Austin Music Foundation to present Love Austin Music Month. Showing some extra love throughout February, the Austin Music Minute will give you details about online performances – both livestream and prerecorded sets – by Austin-based artists.
Drawing national attention for her outstanding performances onstage and online, Jackie Venson recently made a fantastic television debut on Austin City Limits, while keeping the momentum going with mind-blowing improvisational sets on her livestream series. Even with a pandemic slowing things down, Venson has been going non-stop, and it looks like more looms on the horizon.
Venson has two online shows this week: See her on the Shout & Shine livestream series at 6 p.m. (Central) Wednesday Feb. 3 at The Bluegrass Situation; and performing a Purple Bee TV set at 9 p.m. (Central) Friday Feb. 5 on the Purple Bee website.
