It’s usually in February, but we just couldn’t wait! KUTX, the City of Austin Music and Entertainment Division and the Austin Music Foundation proudly present Love Austin Music Month, a month-long celebration of Austin-based music artists. It’s overwhelming to hear how much phenomenal musical talent is coming out of this city.
Speaking of which, C-Boy’s Heart and Soul is one of the hot spots to check out a lot of fantastic artists. Taking over the stage tonight, powerhouse three-piece horn ensemble Grooveline Horns, featuring Fernando Castillo on trumpet, Carlos Sosa on sax, and Reggie Watkins on trombone. These guys are known internationally for a damn good reason. Catch Grooveline Horns at 10 p.m. tonight, Tuesday Jan. 11, at C-Boy’s on South Congress. The Basil Trio plays an early set starting at 6:30 p.m. Please check with the venue for COVID safety protocol, and remember to bring your mask.
