Long Live Music

By: Laurie Gallardo

This Easter weekend, Luck Reunion and The Long Center wrap up the latest edition of the Long Live Music series with a powerhouse group known for uplifting and redefining the traditions of gospel music, the legendary Blind Boys of Alabama.

This is monumental. The Blind Boys of Alabama show, on the Long Center front lawn, kicks off at 2 p.m. tomorrow, Sun. April 4, with Ray Prim as the special guest opener. This is a socially-distanced show; masks are required. Proceeds support nonprofit Musically Fed, which has provided access to food for unemployed music industry workers across the country during the pandemic.

*UPDATE: The Long Center website says that this show is now sold out.
