Today marks the one-year anniversary of Last Tuesday with DJ Talib Kweli at Native Hostel, a celebration of good vibes and good music, all in support of Austin nonprofit DAWA Fund, empowering community front liners and artists of color through direct financial support and health-centered programming.
DAWA founder and one-half of Riders Against the Storm, Jonathan ‘Chaka’ Mahone, hosts an evening of live performances including Eimaral Sol, J Soulja, Shxwnfresh, KUTX Artist of the Month alumnus Moody Bank$ (featured on today’s AMM), Ashmar, and of course Talib Kweli keeping the party going. It’s all happening tonight, Tuesday Oct. 25, at Native, 807 E. 4th St. The music starts at 9 p.m. PULL UP.
