Is It Time?

By: Laurie Gallardo

The answer to the aforementioned question is an adamant yes. Bayonne (composer/musician Roger Sellers) releases his first new single in three years, “Is It Time”, a contemplative introspection into a maddening stillness – life itself at a standstill as time drones on without you. This time, though, the heart and mind are welcoming changes to come.

Sellers’ return to “a real studio again” gave him the space to explore and play with various field recordings and found audio on VHS tapes, and to be open to different avenues in creating his music. It was time to take that leap into the unknown.

Tonight, Monday Nov. 7, Bayonne will be open for Jean-Philip Grobler’s project St. Lucia at Emo’s, 2015 E. Riverside Dr. Doors at 7 p.m.
