And today’s AMM features longtime fave Wil Cope doin’ the damn thing at The Left Side Vintage Market this week. Wednesday at Trace

Careless Creatures, last year’s release by Wiretree, is a return to songwriter/vocalist Kevin Peroni‘s musical roots. The five-track EP was recorded and performed entirely by Peroni – with the exception of “Back To the Start,” interestingly, because it really is back to the start. Wiretree began as Peroni’s solo project before the band took shape […]

Can I Get A Witness?

It’s merely a matter of days before the Dirty Ol’ One Man Band known as Scott H. Biram hits the road again, turning venues upside down with his unhinged brand of country/punk/rock/psychotic hillbilly dirty blues consuming the ear holes of unsuspecting spectators. Good times. But before the madness of tour life (re)commences, Biram plays for […]

Reflections…

-Photography by Kate Blaising. It started out with Royal Jelly (2015), Löwin‘s 7-track debut that placed songwriter/vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Sara Houser in the limelight. Your AMM’s favorite picks: Opener “Best Laid Plans,” the exhausted narrator’s lament on “Move It Football Head,” and of course, “Big Mouth” tellin’ it like it is (“You’ve got a big mouth / […]
