Summary

One would be hard pressed to find a recording coming anywhere close to replicating the live experience of Austin 10-piece funk/jazz/Afro-beat inspired outfit Hard Proof. Though some say the band’s 2017 scorcher Stinger drives the polyrhythmic point home. But nothing beats hearing those driving beats and Hard Proof horns live.

New music is in the works from this big crew. Stay tuned for details, and make sure to start out your week with a Hard Proof blast tonight, Monday Sept. 12, at C-Boy’s Heart and Soul on South Congress. Doors at 9:30 p.m., with the performance at 10 p.m.
