From the Hills With Love, a much-anticipated annual showcase curated by Israel Nash and presented at the grounds of his Hill Country studio Plum Creek Sound during SXSW, was put on pause for a bit, for obvious reasons (thanks, pandemic). But the show must go on, and indeed it will, virtual style.
This year’s streaming event features performances by Nash and Austin-based artists David Ramirez, Matthew Logan Vasquez, and Grace Pettis, along with New York-based folk-pop duo The Sea The Sea; English folk rockers Treetop Flyers; Catalan singer-songwriter Joana Serrát; Devin Tuel’s project Native Harrow; and Andy Stepanian and Mason Brent‘s band Leon III.
From the Hills With Love begins at 7 p.m. (Central) tonight, Friday March 26, on Israel Nash’s YouTube channel and Facebook Live. All tips go to the bands and to Dripping Springs Food Bank.
