You’ve been warned. Word on the street is: Make sure you bring some ice with you to tonight’s Lola Tried show, so your face won’t melt off. But, oh what fun to get the dance floor all slippery…!
Following their recent tour, the Austin-based rockers are ready to wrap up the year with two more shows in their hometown, one happening on Boxing Day (26 Dec. at Hotel Vegas), and the other tonight at Cheer Up Charlie’s, 901 Red River. It’s another great bill featuring mutant garage pop-rock hoodlums from the darkest depths (where all your friends live), Magic Rockers of Texas, and Lola Tried’s Ray Garza pulling double duty as his noise-pop band Poly Action opens the show. Doors at 9 p.m. So recommended.
