As KUTX celebrates Pride Month with features about LGBTQIA+ artists shaping Austin’s music scene, the AMM is also keeping an ear out for Pride music shows around town, like the Far Out and Proud series. Every Wednesday throughout June, South Austin venue Far Out Lounge and Stage puts the spotlight on area artists of various genres performing loud and proud.
You’re in for another great line-up this week, with ATX-based songwriter Sami Serrano‘s indie-pop magic Sami and The Engine (“Opiate” is today’s AMM featured track); sensational Austin artist (by way of Corpus Christi) Quentin Arispe bringing the full-on fabulousness; and recording artist, producer, warrior and Future Front Executive Director Jane Clare. Catch the show tomorrow night, Wednesday June 15, at Far Out Lounge and Stage, 8504 S. Congress Ave. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the music starts at 7 p.m.
