The track featured on today’s AMM is Trinidad Jame$‘ “Say It Loud (T.I.B.E)” – instantly a solid foundation for a collaborative project with Big K.R.I.T. and CyHi the Prynce that dialed it up even further. “Say It Loud” was already a banger; the trio took it to another level, honoring a power that will not be oppressed.

Atlanta-based hip hop artist Trinidad Jame$ (née Nicholas Williams) made his 2012 debut with “All Gold Everything.” Though dropped from the Def Jam label in 2014, he continued releasing music independently, and formed his own label, Gold Gang Records, in 2017.

Trinidad James will be in town for a show tomorrow night, Friday June 4, at Antone’s, 305 E. 5th, sharing a bill with Austin-based artists Mike Melinoe and David Shabani. DJ Mahealani spins between sets. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the music starts at 9 p.m.
