KUTX has teamed up with the City of Austin Music and Entertainment Division and the Austin Music Foundation to present Love Austin Music Month, and as part of the big celebration, the AMM is spotlighting online performances by local artists.
We at KUTX love to support our local artists, but it must be noted how much our local artists give back in support of others, both here in Austin and beyond. One such example is a tremendous benefit concert, Food For Love, supporting the New Mexico Association of Food Banks. And this is no small feat. The line-up is HUGE, with several longtime ATX faves stepping up for the cause.
Alejandro Escovedo (featured on today’s AMM), James McMurtry, Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, Butch Hancock, Eliza Gilkyson, Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Joe Ely, Marcia Ball, Charlie Sexton, Terry Allen, Jesse Dayton…the list goes on and on!
