The man suspected of killing three people this week outside a Target store in North Austin had repeated run-ins with law enforcement for alleged assault several times in the last decade. The Austin City Council has passed a $6.3 billion budget for the coming fiscal year. New A-F accountability ratings for public school districts are out today from the Texas Education Agency. Part of a national memorial honoring the victims of AIDS-related illness is coming to downtown Austin.
