Eli Tidmore: “My Couch” [PREMIERE]

By: Jack Anderson

Having just moved to Austin in 2019, Tyler, Texas native Eli Tidmore is already on the fast track to a fulfilling career. After releasing E T 1 this June, Tidmore’s now officially past the halfway mark in his pre-determined trilogy of eponymous EPs, and where the debut used a soft touch approach to its sonics, E T 2 leans more towards genre blenders like Prince, John Mayer, and The Weeknd and style definers Spoon and Al Green.

E T 2 dropped at the top of today, and right now you can make yourself a little more comfy in quarantine with the record’s romantic centerpiece, “My Couch”!

BS: “f1”

Austin’s BS comes in hot with “f1,” a fast-moving track that lives up to its name. Built on propulsive drums and sharp, forward-leaning production, the song feels like it’s constantly accelerating, carrying a restless energy from start to finish. It’s a short, sharp burst of momentum that doesn’t waste much time getting where it’s going. […]
