Though the pandemic put most things on hold, The Belle Sounds‘ Noëlle Hampton could not take a break from music. Instead, Hampton and husband/musical partner André Moran kicked up the songwriting momentum and released several tracks, some of which became part of Stay Alive – The 2020 Singles LP compilation (2021). That was followed by the the EP All About Love – and a handful of new music videos, including “Like Glass” (featured on today’s AMM), “Love Will Change” and a truly awesome bounce-rock-skate-roll moment, “All About Love.”
This week, local nonprofit Black Fret hosts a performance by The Belle Sounds and Spaceflight Records artist S.L. Houser in a show tomorrow night, Friday July 8, at 3Ten. The bill features special guest appearances Lizzy Lehman (Carry Illinois) and Jason Garcia (Jason & Brit). Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
