Parents and students at Becker Elementary were up extra early this morning to protest a new plan that includes closing the school to save money. Firefly Aerospace is looking to expand its footprint in defense technology. Travis County is moving ahead with its efforts to make childcare more accessible and more affordable.

Hays County Commissioners yesterday approved putting a bond for roadway improvements on the November ballot.
