The One Where They Make Tifos

Austin FC supporters have turned Q2 stadium into one of the best environments in Major League Soccer. One way they show their support of the team on game day is through elaborate fan displays, called tifos. These giant banners are displayed for a couple of minutes right before kickoff, but each one takes hundreds of people and weeks to make, and is one of the best ways to get involved in supporting the team.

March was all about music for Texas Standard. We debuted our latest Texas Standard special – “Rap to the Ranch: The Ballad of Mason ‘Bric’ LaDue.” And we celebrated ten years of the show with a top 10 list of our favorite music interviews and stories from the past decade.
