The southbound main lanes of I-35 at State Highway 29 in Georgetown will continue to be closed at night through Thursday.

The Austin firefighters union agreed to a new labor contract with the city. Several school districts in the Austin area are considering closing campuses amid budget deficits. A legal battle over a data center project in Taylor is set to go to court today. The Texas Longhorns are now number nine in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll.

The Texas Supreme Court has denied a petition in a lawsuit filed against the City of Austin that challenged the ballot language in its upcoming tax rate election. The Texas Football team dropped down one spot in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

After a couple days with highs below normal, the National Weather Service forecast shows temperatures going back above normal for most of this week.
