Today’s featured AMM track “Only to Go On” is the opener on Recoil by dream/psych pop trio Semihelix, originally the solo project of guitarist/vocalist Geannie Friedman. The current line-up includes drummer Valdemar Barrera and bassist Kevin Martin, both of whom are on the latest LP, a fuzzed-out, melodic blast heralding resilience and living in the moment.

Semihelix has a show coming up tomorrow night, Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Hotel Vegas on E. 6th, on a bill with Hersh Cohen’s garage rock project Shared Walls. Doors open at 8 p.m. Please remember to bring your mask.
